Medveds, a recent Cal Baptist University graduate, completed the course in an impressive 27 minutes and 3 seconds, outpacing defending champion Evert Silva and Olympic medalist Galen Rupp. His victory represents a significant achievement in breaking historical barriers in American distance running.

Ethiopia's Atsede Tesema, the 2016 Boston Marathon champion, dominated the women's division with a record-setting time of 31:01. Her remarkable comeback after hip surgery demonstrates the resilience and determination that characterizes elite athletes.
