Leadership Transition Signals New Era for Career Development Organization
In a significant move for workforce development in Illinois, Bryna Ryan has been appointed as the interim executive director of SkillsUSA Illinois, bringing her extensive nonprofit leadership experience to an organization dedicated to preparing students for career success.
Ryan, who joined the organization as director of workforce development in August 2024, brings a strong educational foundation with degrees from Illinois State University and the University of Illinois at Springfield. Her appointment represents a commitment to developing diverse talent across the state.
Proven Leadership Track Record
Prior to this role, Ryan demonstrated her leadership capabilities as CEO of Neighborhood House Association of Peoria, where she focused on community development and sustainable success in program implementation.
